This rainbow elastic trim has heavy stretch with a sturdy hand, smooth woven texture, and deep saturated color bands. Originally sourced new from New York’s Garment District, it’s a near match to the elastic used in classic 1980s rainbow belts and accessories,  perfect for recreating that iconic style (I made a belt like my favorite from the early 80s!).

Use it for belts, suspenders, costume accents, or statement waistbands. It sews cleanly, stretches evenly, and holds its shape beautifully.
